It's always difficult to condense everything about yourself in a concise paragraph but I'll try.
I would describe myself as someone who is down to earth, genuine and humble. I am extremely easy-going and open-minded, however, I still retain good morals and Islamic values. My friends and family consider me as someone who is caring, honest, extremely loyal and witty. I love to travel and am extremely adventurous...I have been lucky enough to travel a fair bit butI would ultimately love to visit every country on this planet and actually outer space as well if I ever got the chance. I believe in experiences over material belongings ..I would much rather spend a weekend with friends and family than buy an expensive bag. Saying that, I do take pride in my appearance and don't dress like a hobo.
I am a positive person, I am a strong believer in 'everything happens for a reason and for the best' so tend to not take any negatives in life too seriously. I'm usually the friend who someone calls up to get some perspective on a life problem and I tend to be able to cheer them up pretty quick.
Some things on my bucket list are to go sky-diving, snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef and volunteering for an organisation such as doctors without borders.
I have varied tastes and don't love the term 'hobbies' since I feel like I'm not 12 but some things I like to do in my spare time are reading, spending time with friends and family, going out to eat/cinema, Yoga, attending the occasional gym class and visiting art galleries.
Important thing about me is that I can't lie because my facial expressions would give me away. Not judgmental, some would say reserved (I prefer introvert). I pick those that are close to me carefully, but once I consider you a friend (or more) I am quite animated and lively.
I feel like every experience I have had getting to know someone brings me closer to understanding what exactly it is that I want in terms of qualities in a spouse. Although there are many things I would like I fully understand that what I think I want may be different to what I ultimately need and what is best for me iA.
Saying that I would say I am looking for someone who is confident, who is both educated and emotionally intelligent (i.e. knows what he wants and is serious about making the effort to obtain it). Someone who is caring, honest and loyal as we've heard it enough times trust is key, miscommunication and lack of trust can kill a relationship.
I truly believe that the most attractive quality a guy can have is a sense of humour. I would want someone who I can talk to about anything and everything, someone who could hold a conversation beyond commenting on the weather and what their work day was like.
I am fairly practicing but not a perfect Muslim, I don't think anyone is, I am always striving to be better and this intention is something I would hope my partner would also possess.
I have an older sister and younger brother both doctors as well as my dad, ideally looking for someone with a professional background.
I'm registering to find myself a partner
