A Little Bit About Me
A bit about me: I would hate to bore you by telling you how wonderful I am by attaching to my name a bunch of flattering adjectives. I am sure that you have already found this about a hundred times in other profiles but its hard to write this without sounding extremely generic and unimaginative. Just as an indicator: I'm pragmatic but spontaneous, nurturing but competitive, laid back but extremley driven, focused but an occasional dreamer!
My family background: My family are my anchor and the paradigm of everything that I aspire to be. I'm fortunate to have them in my life, not to mention a legion of close friends. I come from quite a multicultural family; my mother reverted to Islam from Hinduism when she married my father (mashallah). My father is originally from Mirpur and my mother is originally from Kenya but her roots lie in Gujarat (India).

What I Am Looking For
I'm looking for someone who is intelligent, well spoken, curious about the world around them, generally doesn't take themselves too seriously and someone who believes that sarcasm is a spice of life! I would give more preference to mannerisms, kindness and confidence in a girl rather than external beauty and money. However, a good sense of sense of style and individuality are important. So coloured conact lenses, 10 layers of foundation and dyed blonde hair are a no no!
For me the following qualities are a major put off: Those who are vein, stubborn, self depricating, arrogant, egocentric, pessimistic, apathetic and those who are caste conscious and place tradition before religion.
