Having a Muslim heritage, I have been living in the UK for decades as I came to this country at an early stage of my life. I went to school, college and ultimately to the university here in England. I travel a lot- for my job as a ‘Software Architect / Engineer’, and also love the serendipity of the unknown. I love to learn about new places, people and cultures.
I am a single person who wants to settle down and raise a family.I consider myself fit (reasonably) and would say have an intelligence to get by daily life plus work and a tad more and with a height of 5’-10”. I come from a very decent highly educated large family of 7, 4 sisters and 3 brothers (Don’t worry, I am the youngest and they all are established, settled and busy, in different parts of the world, with their own lives! So, there is no interference!). My family and friends are the most important things in my life, and I am lucky to be surrounded by great people.
I especially value humour, being able to laugh at myself, being able to communicate, culture in general, social issues and the freedom to think outside the box (Well.. I try..lol).
I also like to staying healthy. I like to consider juicing every morning from fresh organic fruit & veg should be an essential part of my daily life but not to an extent of an obsession (as often I miss them due to a lazy lying in the morning or get up 10 minutes later than I should have…lol).
Life can often throw a curve ball at you and it’s not always easy to deal with. However, I try to take things in life easy, if something goes wrong, take a step back and rethink (sometimes they work…lol). To a certain degree, I find that often I have to adjust to the surroundings rather than expecting the whole world should bend around me and I believe ‘Compromise’ is one of the key factor in this.
I also like films, sci-fi, documentaries, swimming, camping and walk in the countryside. Travelling is one of the best of my hobbies. I have travelled quite a few countries around the world and intend to do more. I also like to cook and enjoy occasional night in with dinner and movie.
Anyway, the reason I have written this lengthy description of myself is because, I would prefer this to be read by only the genuine people who are ready and honestly looking for a real life partner.
Well… if you are up to here reading this and not bored yet, perhaps it’s safe to suggest that you might want to invest a little more time to read about ‘What I am looking for’?
Wish me luck and I wish you all the best in your search….
I am Looking for a soul mate for marriage as I would like to raise a family with children at some point in the near future.
I’m looking for a companion–someone with her own life, with a strong personality, yet also able to make the compromises that life sometimes requires.
I am looking for someone who is out going and would not mind to hold my hands in public eating out in restaurants and only, if she must, prefers to wear hijab when the occasion calls for it e.g. Muslim festivals, when praying or vising family etc however,I will not interfere in her choice.
I am also looking for someone who is fun to be with, lovely smile, adventurous and not afraid of visiting all the seven wonders of the world with me (inshahallah)?
I am also looking for someone who is able to enjoy the occasional intellectual conversations and learn from each other and also enjoy the daily usual banter. I would also prefer anyone who is interested to have their profile picture up. (That's only fair!)
I'm registering to find myself a partner
